Bernhard II von Sachsen Duke of Saxony

Bernhard II von Sachsen was born in 1002 in Luneburg, Saxony.¹   Bernhard II von Sachsen's father was Bernhard I von Sachsen Duke of Saxony and his mother was Hildegarde von Stade.  His paternal grandparents were Hermann Eillung Duke of Saxony and Hildegardis (von Sachsen); his maternal grandparents were Henreich I von Stade Ct of Stade and Judith (von Stade).  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 57 on June 29th, 1059.¹
