George Talbert Benton 
George Talbert was born on July 21st, 1897 in Walterboro, SC.1 George Talbert's father was James Medicus Benton and his mother was Annie Elizabeth Bishop. His paternal grandparents were Edward H. Benton and Martha Ann Elizabeth Varn. He had six brothers and four sisters, named David Benjamin, Kelly Lee, Laurie Jasper, James McDuffie, Richard Brantley, Edward Heyward, Janie, Beulah May, D. Effie and Infant. He was the third youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 70 on May 7th, 1968 in Walterboro, SC.1 -
