D. Effie Benton 
D. Effie was born on May 17th, 1893.1 D. Effie's father was James Medicus Benton and her mother was Annie Elizabeth Bishop. Her paternal grandparents were Edward H. Benton and Martha Ann Elizabeth Varn. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named David Benjamin, Kelly Lee, Laurie Jasper, James McDuffie, George Talbert, Richard Brantley, Edward Heyward, Janie, Beulah May and Infant. She was the fifth youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 8 on October 28th, 1901.1 -
