Travis Sidney Stanley 
Travis Sidney was born on May 12th, 1864 in Beaverdam, Hanover Co., VA.1 Travis Sidney's father was Zephaniah Powhatan Stanley and his mother was Margaret Perlina Hall. His paternal grandparents were William Stanley and Juriah Rice; his maternal grandparents were Thompson Hall and Elizabeth Harris. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Horace Greeley, Ezra Powhatan, Chester Allen, Floyd, Deliah Lee, Ida Grant and Ada Rose. He was the oldest of the eight children. He had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named John Henry, William Alcie, Dahlquern Thompson, Thomas Jefferson and Lorinda. He died at the age of 42 on February 28th, 1907 in Hanover Co., VA. He was buried in family cemetary, Montpelier, Hanover Co. VA.1 -
