Ada Rose Stanley 
Ada Rose was born in August 1879 in Beaverdam, Hanover Co., VA.1 Ada Rose's father was Zephaniah Powhatan Stanley and her mother was Margaret Perlina Hall. Her paternal grandparents were William Stanley and Juriah Rice; her maternal grandparents were Thompson Hall and Elizabeth Harris. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Travis Sidney, Horace Greeley, Ezra Powhatan, Chester Allen, Floyd, Deliah Lee and Ida Grant. She was the second youngest of the eight children. She had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named John Henry, William Alcie, Dahlquern Thompson, Thomas Jefferson and Lorinda. She died at the age of 46 on March 27th, 1926.-
