Dahlquern Thompson was born on June 19th, 1865 in Hanover Co., Virginia. Dahlquern Thompson's father was Zephaniah Powhatan Stanley and his mother was Martha Anderson Hall. His paternal grandparents were William Stanley and Juriah Rice; his maternal grandparents were Thompson Hall and Elizabeth Harris. He had three brothers and a sister, named John Henry, William Alcie, Thomas Jefferson and Lorinda. He was the second youngest of the five children. He had five half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Travis Sidney, Horace Greeley, Ezra Powhatan, Chester Allen, Floyd, Deliah Lee, Ida Grant and Ada Rose. He died at the age of 56 on February 3rd, 1922 in Hanover Co., Virginia.-
