Chester Allen Stanley 
Chester Allen was born on June 26th, 1876 in Beaverdam, Hanover Co., VA. Chester Allen's father was Zephaniah Powhatan Stanley and his mother was Margaret Perlina Hall. His paternal grandparents were William Stanley and Juriah Rice; his maternal grandparents were Thompson Hall and Elizabeth Harris. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Travis Sidney, Horace Greeley, Ezra Powhatan, Floyd, Deliah Lee, Ida Grant and Ada Rose. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named John Henry, William Alcie, Dahlquern Thompson, Thomas Jefferson and Lorinda. He died at the age of 69 on June 27th, 1945 in Gordonsville, VA.-
