William Alcie Hall 
William Alcie was born on December 25th, 1863 in Beaverdam, Hanover Co., Virginia. William Alcie's father was Zephaniah Powhatan Stanley and his mother was Martha Anderson Hall. His paternal grandparents were William Stanley and Juriah Rice; his maternal grandparents were Thompson Hall and Elizabeth Harris. He had three brothers and a sister, named John Henry, Dahlquern Thompson, Thomas Jefferson and Lorinda. He was the third oldest of the five children. He had five half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Travis Sidney, Horace Greeley, Ezra Powhatan, Chester Allen, Floyd, Deliah Lee, Ida Grant and Ada Rose. He died at the age of 47 on March 1st, 1911 in Beaverdam, Hanover Co., Virginia.-
