John Henry Hall 
John Henry was born on August 6th, 1854 in Beaverdam, Hanover Co., Virginia. John Henry's father was Zephaniah Powhatan Stanley and his mother was Martha Anderson Hall. His paternal grandparents were William Stanley and Juriah Rice; his maternal grandparents were Thompson Hall and Elizabeth Harris. He had three brothers and a sister, named William Alcie, Dahlquern Thompson, Thomas Jefferson and Lorinda. He was the oldest of the five children. He had five half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Travis Sidney, Horace Greeley, Ezra Powhatan, Chester Allen, Floyd, Deliah Lee, Ida Grant and Ada Rose. He died at the age of 62 on March 14th, 1917 in Beaverdam, Hanover Co., Virginia.-
