Thomas Poindexter 
Thomas was born on May 25th, 1760 in St. Peter's Parish, New Kent Co., Virginia. Thomas' father was Thomas Poindexter and his mother was Lucy Jones. His paternal grandparents were John P. Poindexter and Christian Gossage. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named John, Gabriel Jones, James, Richard Jones, Robert, William, George, Elizabeth Jones, Lucy Jones and Molly. He was the third oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 82 on April 10th, 1843.-
