Gabriel Jones Poindexter 
Gabriel Jones was born on May 6th, 1758 in Louisa Co., VA. Gabriel Jones' father was Thomas Poindexter and his mother was Lucy Jones. His paternal grandparents were John P. Poindexter and Christian Gossage. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named John, Thomas, James, Richard Jones, Robert, William, George, Elizabeth Jones, Lucy Jones and Molly. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 73 on August 28th, 1831 in Clark, Indiana.-
