Elizabeth Jones was born in 1767 in Louisa Co., VA. Elizabeth Jones' father was Thomas Poindexter and her mother was Lucy Jones. Her paternal grandparents were John P. Poindexter and Christian Gossage. She had eight brothers and two sisters, named John, Gabriel Jones, Thomas, James, Richard Jones, Robert, William, George, Lucy Jones and Molly. She was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. She died in Kentucky.-
