Robert Poindexter 
Robert was born on December 22nd, 1776 in Louisa Co., VA. Robert's father was Thomas Poindexter and his mother was Lucy Jones. His paternal grandparents were John P. Poindexter and Christian Gossage. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named John, Gabriel Jones, Thomas, James, Richard Jones, William, George, Elizabeth Jones, Lucy Jones and Molly. He was the third youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 54 in 1830 in Kentucky.-
