Mary Carter 
Mary was born in 1712. Mary's father was Robert Carter and her mother was Elizabeth Landon. Her paternal grandparents were John Carter and Sarah Ludlow; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Landon and Mary de Laval. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Robert, Charles, Ludlow, Landon, George, Anne, Sarah, Betty and Lucy. She was the third youngest of the ten children. She had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named John, Elizabeth, Judith, Sarah and Judith. She died at the age of 24 in 1736. She was buried in Mattaponi Church, King and Queen Co., VA.-
