George Carter 
George was born about 1718. George's father was Robert Carter and his mother was Elizabeth Landon. His paternal grandparents were John Carter and Sarah Ludlow; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Landon and Mary de Laval. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Robert, Charles, Ludlow, Landon, Anne, Sarah, Betty, Mary and Lucy. He was the youngest of the ten children. He had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named John, Elizabeth, Judith, Sarah and Judith. He died in 1742.-
