Sarah Elizabeth Newiss

Sarah Elizabeth was born in June 1854 in Boston Spa, Yorkshire, England.¹ Sarah Elizabeth's father was Joseph Newiss and her mother was Ann Hartley. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Newis and Sara (Newhouse). She had six brothers and four sisters, named James, Enoch, Joseph, Edwin C, Charles, Frank, Elizabeth, Kate, Esther Ann and Ruth. She was the third oldest of the eleven children.
