Enoch Newiss

Enoch was born in December 1855 in Boston Spa, Yorkshire, England.¹ Enoch's father was Joseph Newiss and his mother was Ann Hartley. His paternal grandparents were Robert Newis and Sara (Newhouse). He had five brothers and five sisters, named James, Joseph, Edwin C, Charles, Frank, Elizabeth, Sarah Elizabeth, Kate, Esther Ann and Ruth. He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. He died in Keighley, Yorkshire, England.
