Charles Newiss

Charles was born in 1866 in Boston Spa, Yorkshire, England.¹ Charles' father was Joseph Newiss and his mother was Ann Hartley. His paternal grandparents were Robert Newis and Sara (Newhouse). He had five brothers and five sisters, named James, Enoch, Joseph, Edwin C, Frank, Elizabeth, Sarah Elizabeth, Kate, Esther Ann and Ruth. He was the tenth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 7 in December 1873 in Keighley, Yorkshire, England.
