Edwin C Newiss

Edwin C was born in 1859 in Boston Spa, Yorkshire, England.¹ Edwin C's father was Joseph Newiss and his mother was Ann Hartley. His paternal grandparents were Robert Newis and Sara (Newhouse). He had five brothers and five sisters, named James, Enoch, Joseph, Charles, Frank, Elizabeth, Sarah Elizabeth, Kate, Esther Ann and Ruth. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children.
