Mrs Ruhama Doane

Ruhama was born on April 30th, 1685. Ruhama's father was Mr Ephraim Doane and her mother was Mrs Mercy Mary Knowles. Her paternal grandparents were Mr John Doane and Abigail; her maternal grandparents were Mr Richard Knowles and Mrs Ruth Bower. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Hezekiah, Thomas, Ebenezer, Nehemiah, Patience, Apphia and Patience. She was the youngest of the eight children.

General Notes
- Married Richard Stephens on 9-22-1726 in Eastham. About 1704 she was living in the family of David Melville at Eastham and in 1707-08 was employed at Samuel Cox's Inn, Boston.
