Mr Hezekiah Doane

Hezekiah was born in August 1672.¹ Hezekiah's father was Mr Ephraim Doane and his mother was Mrs Mercy Mary Knowles. His paternal grandparents were Mr John Doane and Abigail; his maternal grandparents were Mr Richard Knowles and Mrs Ruth Bower. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Ebenezer, Nehemiah, Patience, Apphia, Patience and Ruhama. He was the third oldest of the eight children.¹
