Ms Patience Doane

Patience was born on January 28th, 1668 in Eastham.¹ Patience's father was Mr Ephraim Doane and her mother was Mrs Mercy Mary Knowles. Her paternal grandparents were Mr John Doane and Abigail; her maternal grandparents were Mr Richard Knowles and Mrs Ruth Bower. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Hezekiah, Thomas, Ebenezer, Nehemiah, Apphia, Patience and Ruhama. She was the oldest of the eight children. She died due to a childhood disease about 1675.¹
