Edward was born on November 5th, 1761 in Ashton On Mersey, Cheshire, England.  Edward's father was John MARSLAND and his mother was Mary WILLIAMSON.  He had four brothers and six sisters, named Robert, John, Edward, James, Sarah, Mary, Elizabeth, Rachel, Mary and Betty.  He was the tenth oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 57 in 1818 in Ashton On Mersey, Cheshire, England.
