Edward was born on January 17th, 1759 in Ashton On Mersey, Cheshire, England.  Edward's father was John MARSLAND and his mother was Mary WILLIAMSON.  He had four brothers and six sisters, named Robert, John, Edward, James, Sarah, Mary, Elizabeth, Rachel, Mary and Betty.  He was the nineth oldest of the eleven children.  He died in 1759 in Ashton On Mersey, Cheshire, England.
