Hope was born on December 24th, 1674 in Portsmouth, Newton, Rhode Island. Hope's father was George SISSON and her mother was Sarah LAWTON. Her paternal grandparents were Richard SISSON and Mary Mrs SISSON; her maternal grandparents were Thomas LAWTON and Elizabeth Salisbury. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Richard, George, Thomas, John, James, Elizabeth, Mary, Ann, Ruth and Abigail. She was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 77 on January 21st, 1752 in Dartmouth, MA.-
