Ruth SANFORD 
Ruth was born on September 27th, 1706 in Portsmouth, Newton, Rhode Island. Ruth's father was William SANFORD and her mother was Hope SISSON. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel SANFORD and Sarah WODELL; her maternal grandparents were George SISSON and Sarah LAWTON. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Richard, William, George, Joseph, Sarah, Mary and Elizabeth. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 2 on May 16th, 1709 in Portsmouth, Newton, Rhode Island.-
