William SANFORD 
William was born on May 21st, 1676 in Portsmouth, Newton, Rhode Island. William's father was Samuel SANFORD and his mother was Sarah WODELL. His paternal grandparents were John SANFORD and Elizabeth WEBB; his maternal grandparents were William WODELL (WARDWELL and Mary WARDWELL. He had two brothers and four sisters, named John, Samuel, Elizabeth, Jane, Bridget and Mary. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 84 on June 19th, 1760 in Dartmouth, Massachusetts.-
