Marie of Champagne was born about 1127 in Blois, Loir-et-Cher, Orleanais, France.  Marie of Champagne's father was Ct. Thibaud IV of Blois and her mother was Maud of Carinthia.  Her paternal grandparents were Ct. Etienne III of Blois (The sage) and Adela of Normandy; her maternal grandparents were Duke Engelbert II of Carinthia and Edith of Carinthia.  She was an only child.  She died about 1190.


Marie of Champagne's family with Duke Eudes II of Bourgogne

‌Marie of Champagne and Eudes II of Bourgogne were married in a religious ceremony in 1142.  They had a son named Hugues III of Bourgogne.
