Adele of France was born about 1009 in , France.  Adele of France's father was King Robert II of France (The pious) and her mother was Constance of Toulouse.  Her paternal grandparents were King Hugues of France and Adelaideof Poitou; her maternal grandparents were Ct. Guillaume of Provence and Adelia (Blanca) of Anjou. She had two brothers and a sister, named Robert I of Bourgogne, Henri I of France and Constance of France.  She died on January 8th, 1079 in Messinesmonastre, France.

‌Adele of France and Richard III of Normandy were married in a religious ceremony in January 1027.  They had a daughter named Helena of Normandy.


Adele of France's second family with Ct. Baudouin V of Flandres

‌Adele of France and Baudouin V of Flandres were married in a religious ceremony in 1028.  They had two sons and two daughters, named Baudouin VI of Flandres, Le Frison, Mathildeof Flandres and Mathildeof Flandres.
