Etienne III of Blois, known as The sage, was born about 1045 in Blois, Orleanais, France.  The sage's father was Ct. Thibaud III of Blois and his mother was Alix of Crepi.  His paternal grandparents were Ct. Eudes II of Blois and Ermengardeof Auvergne.  He was an only child.  He died  due to killed by Turks on May 19th, 1102 in Ramulah, Holy Land.  He was buried on May 27th, 1102 in Ramee, France.


The sage's first family with Adela of Normandy

‌The sage and Adela of Normandy were married in a religious ceremony about 1080.  They had a son and a daughter, named Thibaud IV of Blois and Lithuise of Blois.


The sage's second family with Miss

‌The sage and Miss were married in a religious ceremony.  They had a daughter named Emme of Blois.
