Richard II of Normandy, known as The good, was born about 0963 in , Normandy, France.  The good's father was Duke Richard I of Normandy (The Fearless) and his mother was Gunnora of Crepon.  His paternal grandparents were Duke Guillaume I of Normandy and Sporta (Adela) of Senlis; his maternal grandparents were King Harald II Gormsson of denmark (Bluetooth) and Gunhilda Olafsdatter. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Godfroi of Eu & Brionne, Robert of Evreux, Guillaume I of Eu Hiesmes, Mauger of Normandy, Godfroi fitz Richard of Brionne, Murella of Normandy, Hedwig of Normandy, Beatrix of Normandy, Aelgifu (Emme) of Normandy, Mathilda (Maud) of Normandy and Mathilda (Maud) of Normandy. He had a half-sister named Frasenda or Frederina of Normandy.  He died on August 28th, 1026 in Fecamp, Normandy, France.


The good's first family with Judith of Bretagne

‌The good and Judith of Bretagne were married in a religious ceremony about 1000.  They had four sons and three daughters, named Richard III of Normandy, Robert I of Normandy, Robert I of Normandy, Guillaume Poncius of Arques, Alix or Adelaideof Normandy, Judith of Bretagne and Judith of Bretagne.


The good's second family with Papia

‌The good and Papia were married in a religious ceremony in not married.  They had two daughters named Papia of Normandy and Papia of Normandy.
