Alix or Adelaideof Normandy was born about 1003 in , Normandy, France.  Alix or Adelaideof Normandy's father was Duke Richard II of Normandy (The good) and her mother was Judith of Bretagne.  Her paternal grandparents were Duke Richard I of Normandy (The Fearless) and Gunnora of Crepon; her maternal grandparents were Duke Conan I Rennes of Bretagne (The Crooked) and Ermengardeof Anjou. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Richard III of Normandy, Robert I of Normandy, Robert I of Normandy, Guillaume Poncius of Arques, Judith of Bretagne and Judith of Bretagne. She had two half-sisters named Papia of Normandy and Papia of Normandy.  She died after July 1st, 1037.
