Patrick, known as Paddy, was born on February 3rd, 1914 in Ballygalda.  Paddy's father was Patrick Larkin and his mother was Catherine Brennan.  His paternal grandparents were John Larkin and Margaret Connor; his maternal grandparents were John Brennan and Ellen Quigley. He had four brothers and five sisters, named John, Jim, Tommy, Willie, Margaret, Maureen, Lena, Kitty and Brigid.  He was the fourth youngest of the ten children.  He died due to natural causes or old age at the age of 76 on September 8th, 1990.
