Lena was born on October 9th, 1910.  Lena's father was Patrick Larkin and her mother was Catherine Brennan.  Her paternal grandparents were John Larkin and Margaret Connor; her maternal grandparents were John Brennan and Ellen Quigley. She had five brothers and four sisters, named John, Jim, Paddy, Tommy, Willie, Margaret, Maureen, Kitty and Brigid.  She was the fifth oldest of the ten children.  She died at the age of 94 on January 5th, 2005.
