Lydia Gannaway

Lydia was born in June 1854 in Southampton, Hampshire.¹ Lydia's father was Thomas Joseph Gannaway and her mother was Susan Devine. Her paternal grandparents were Henry George Gannaway and Ann Mainer. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named George, Thomas, John, William, Thomas, Nathanial, Harry, Harriet and Anne. She was the third youngest of the ten children.
