Ann was born in 1789 in Southampton, Hampshire and her christening took place on May 17th, 1789 in St Marys, Southampton, Hampshire.1 2   Ann's father was John Mainer and her mother was Sarah Powel. She had two sisters named Elizabeth and Sarah.  She was the youngest of the three children.  She died at the age of 66 in 1855 in Southampton, Hampshire.3
