Thomas Avis

Thomas was born in 1811 in Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire.¹ Thomas' father was Thomas Avis and his mother was Mary Chambers. His paternal grandparents were William Avis and Elizabeth. He had four brothers and three sisters, named William, John, James, Nathanial, Ann, Mary and Dinah. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 61 in March 1872 in Amersham, Buckinghamshire.²
