Nathanial Avis

Nathanial was born in 1808 in Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire and his christening took place there on December 4th, 1808.¹² Nathanial's father was Thomas Avis and his mother was Mary Chambers. His paternal grandparents were William Avis and Elizabeth. He had four brothers and three sisters, named William, John, James, Thomas, Ann, Mary and Dinah. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 85 in March 1893 in St Saviour, Southwark, Surrey.³
