Margaret Kerr Towers (Maggie) 
Margaret was born on March 27th, 1893 in New Jersey.1 2 Margaret's father was Walter Colquhoun Towers and her mother was Jane (Jean, Jeanie) Kerr. Her paternal grandparents were William Tours and Margaret Colquhoun; her maternal grandparents were Archibald Kerr and Isabella (Bella) Purdon. She had seven brothers and a sister, named Walter, William, Archibald, John, Alexander, James, Elmer and Isabella. She was the second youngest of the nine children. She died due to a respiratory problem and/or pneumonia, bronchial pneumonia following influenza, childbirth contributory, at the age of 25 on January 12th, 1919 in Detroit.3 1
