William Tours 
William was born on October 9th, 1767 in Paisley and his baptism took place on September 10th, 1767 in Paisley Abbey parish.1 William's father was Michaill Towrs and his mother was Agnes Stewart. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Robert, John, Michaill, Michal, John, Agnes, Jannet and Mary. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died due to natural causes or old age, Aged, at the age of 76 on September 12th, 1844 in Paisley.2 - Death Notes

"Two sons of this family have descendants in Paisley. One brother was a Writer (i.e. lawyer), another was a teacher" (Janet McKean, né Towers, 2003)
