Agnes' father was Michaill Towrs and her mother was Agnes Stewart. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Robert, John, Michaill, William, Michal, John, Jannet and Mary.  She was the third oldest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 73 in January 1837 in Glasgow.  She was buried in Glasgow.^1 1
