Hugh Love

Hugh was born in 1866 in New Cumnock.

Hugh's father was John Love and his mother was Elizabeth McLatchie. His maternal grandparents were Hugh McLatchie and Hannah Goldie. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Alexander, Thomas, Robert, William, Hanna, Mary, Elizabeth, Marion, Jemima and Janet. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 27 in 1893 in New Cumnock.
