Hugh McLatchie

Hugh was born on January 15th, 1763 in Old Cumnock and his baptism took place there on January 20th, 1763.¹

Hugh's father was John McLatchie and his mother was Janet Mcowan. He had three brothers named Hugh, William and William.  He was the second oldest of the four children. He had three half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Hugh, John, Robert, Janet, Marjory, Mary, Agnes and Margaret.  He died at the age of 80 in March 1843 in Old Cumnock.  He was buried in Old Cumnock.^2 2
