Robert McLatchie

Robert was born on January 28th, 1789 in Old Cumnock and his baptism took place there on January 31st, 1789.¹   Robert's father was John McLatchie and his mother was Janet Crawford. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Hugh, John, Janet, Marjory, Mary, Agnes and Margaret.  He was the second youngest of the eight children. He had four half-brothers named Hugh, Hugh, William and William.  He died at the age of 61 in September 1850 in Canada.¹
