John Ferguson Hunter

John's father was David Hunter and his mother was Alison Thomson. His maternal grandparents were Archibald Thomson and Alison Smeal. He had seven brothers and a sister, named Archibald, William, David, Andrew, James, Thomas, Mason and Alison. He was the youngest of the nine children.
