Alison Hunter

Alison was born on October 4th, 1817 in Uphall and her baptism took place there on October 19th, 1817.¹²

Alison's father was David Hunter and her mother was Alison Thomson. Her maternal grandparents were Archibald Thomson and Alison Smeal. She had eight brothers named Archibald, William, David, Andrew, James, Thomas, Mason and John. She was the third youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 76 in 1893 in Corstorphine.
