Archibald Hunter

Archibald was born in December 1803 in Uphall and his baptism took place there on December 27th, 1803.

Archibald's father was David Hunter and his mother was Alison Thomson. His maternal grandparents were Archibald Thomson and Alison Smeal. He had seven brothers and a sister, named William, David, Andrew, James, Thomas, Mason, John and Alison. He was the oldest of the nine children.
