Lt. Henry Stratton 
Henry was born in 1735 in Dale Parish, Chesterfield Co, Va. Henry's father was Thomas Stratton and his mother was Elizabeth Elam. His paternal grandparents were Edward Stratton III and Anne Batte; his maternal grandparents were Robert Elam I and Elizabeth Anne ("Annie") Bolling. He had two brothers and a sister, named Thomas, John Handley and Nancy. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 64 in 1799 in Liberty, Bedford Co, Va.
