Martha Stratton

Martha was born about 1751 in Chesterfield Co, Va. Martha's father was Lt. Henry Stratton and her mother was "1st wife of Henry Stratton". Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Stratton and Elizabeth Elam. She had a brother and a sister, named Henry and Mary. She was the second oldest of the three children. She had four half-brothers and six half-sisters, named John Hampton, Archibald, William, Thomas, Elizabeth "Betty", Anna (Anne), Millicent "Milly", Jane "Gincey", Sarah and Judith (Judah). She died in 1799 in Bedford Co, Va. She was buried in Bedford Co, Va.
