Capt. Henry Batte I 
Henry was born on August 13th, 1628 in Bristol,West Riding, Yorkshire, England. Henry's father was Capt. John Batte I and his mother was Martha "Katherine" Mallory. His paternal grandparents were Rev. Robert Batte and Mary Elizabeth Parry; his maternal grandparents were Dean Rev. Thomas Mallory and Elizabeth Vaugh. He had three brothers and a sister, named William, John, Thomas and Martha. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 75 in 1703 in Prince George Co, Va.
